As part of a series of intensive meetings to follow up on new residential cities projects, Mr. Sadiq Kazem Al-Anbaki, Head of the New Cities Implementation Authority (NCIA), one of the bodies under the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, chaired an extensive meeting that included Mr. Aqeel Abdul Amir, Deputy Director General of the Urban Planning Directorate, representatives of the companies executing the Al-Ghazlani city project in Nineveh Governorate, the relevant departments within the authority, as well as the authority’s representative in the project. The Head of the Authority emphasized adhering to the outcomes of the last meeting to monitor the speed of the implementing companies’ procedures with the concerned sectoral bodies according to set timelines, and directed them to exert greater efforts to accelerate resolving technical and administrative issues related to sectoral designs and infrastructure. He also stressed the importance of enhancing the direct coordination of the implementing companies with the authority and the relevant bodies in the ministry, giving priority to the state’s free share of 15%.
