The Chairman of the New Cities Implementation Authority, one of the formations of the Ministry of Construction, Housing, and Public Municipalities, Engineer Sadiq Kadhumm Al-Anbaki, continues to hold intensive meetings with the companies carrying out new city projects to follow up on the procedures related to the execution of residential city projects in Baghdad and other provinces. The Chairman headed a joint meeting that included the representative of the company executing the Al-Jawahiri residential city project in Baghdad, the representative of the New Cities Implementation Authority in the project, and several authority engineers to discuss administrative and technical issues of the project, including infrastructure (water, sewage, electricity). The Chairman urged the company to follow up and finalize administrative and technical procedures with relevant sectoral authorities, emphasizing the importance of determining the state’s free share of 25% to start implementing it and give it priority so it can be distributed within the One Million Housing Units initiative launched by the Prime Minister. On the other hand, the head of the authority chaired a meeting with representatives of the coalition of companies implementing the New Ghazlani City project in Nineveh province, with the presence of the NCIA’s representative in the project and a number of the authority’s engineers. The head of the authority emphasized the need for the implementing company to follow up on its administrative and technical procedures with the relevant authorities within a specific timeframe to achieve greater progress in the workflow according to a clear and defined work schedule.
